Rules of Engagement

Season - 14 weekly events on Wednesdays to start in early May.
- Hacker Cup - The date for the Couple Cup event is a group consensus determination.

First Group Off
- Front nine at 4:30 pm
- Use "ready golf" for starting order

Weather - On days when the weather is questionable, everyone should come to the club ready to play. Whether we play or not, we might still want to have dinner together. The Head Hackers will notify if cancellations are known in advance.

Cancelled Play - If we have a definite rain out or a conflict with other club events, the game for that night will not be rescheduled.

Scoring
- Count all strokes ... i.e., no pick-ups, no mulligans, and no give-me.
- Maximum score per hole = Double Par, i.e., 6 on par 3s, 8 on par 4s, 10 on par 5s
- Report all results as net scores unless otherwise notified.

Handicaps - GHIN handicaps for front nine and sometimes back nine will be used for games and scoring cards

Special Hacker Rules
- Hacker "Jungle rules" can be applied everywhere [Lift, clean, and place]
- Lost or OB will be played at the spot as near to where it is deemed with a 1 stroke penalty. Local rule, you may move the ball to the nearest spot on the fairway with a 2 stroke penalty.

Substitutes - Sub players are optional but an effort should be made if you can't play. In any case, you must tell the Head Hacker, the pro shop and your scheduled foursome members what arrangements have been made if any by noon of the event day (at the latest).

Prize Money

Ante - Each Hacker player will ante $40 before the season starts, payable to the head Hacker (in small bills if possible).
Prize Purse will be $40 for each event. (See the payout schedule below).
Substitutes are eligible for prizes.
Special Prize - chip-ins will pay $1 each and the prize will increase $1 each week if not won. The prize resets to $1 after a win.
PAY OUT - All prize money will be paid out after each event.
Surplus money - will be returned to each player.

- Fourth team - $6 ($2 per player)
Individual events - $40 Pool
- First player - $7 men & $7 ladies
- Second player - $6 men & $6 ladies
- Third player - $4 men & $4 ladies
- Forth player - $3 men & $3 ladies
